In the context of an artist's residency at Auby, Matthieu Manche worked 'in a laboratory' : this approach resulted from asking questions about the idea of a foreign body, a virus - the artist grafted on to an area which is not his own can be related to this. Workshops with the secondary school youngsters of Auby (59) based on gore culture, trashy films, manga (japonese comics) and other teenage consumer products demonstrating a fascination with the macabre led to 'a controlled' collaboration with them. Together they made a video demonstrating that violence and aggression.
