As part of a cultural partnership agreement with the Lycée Beaupré in Haubourdin, artconnexion organised an art field trip and workshop in Margate, Kent.

The 22 students specialising in art of the Beaupré high school in Haubourdin, participated in a workshop with two British artists: Hannah Lees and Jack Lavender.

For two days, the students explored the area and worked on the history of the city. The students also discovered the different cultural venues through exhibitions and meetings with artists.

The students also took part in British artist Hamish Fulton's performance, a walk around a seawater pool in Margate organised by Turner Contemporary as part of the European project Face2Face.
