artconnexion will carry on with Rethink!, its artistic mentoring programme first initiated in February 2020 with The Museum of Loss Renewal, as part of Refresh!

In February 2022, a new form of mentoring is inaugurated with the Collectif Des Terres, a duo of young artists comprised of Amine Haddadi and Thibault Barois.

This "at home" residency consists in leaving artconnexion's ground floor at the artists' disposal. During the residency, the exhibition room transforms itself into a space designed for work, display, meetings and exchanges.

About the residency:

"From the monumental to the infra-thin scale, we wish to confront our subjectivities with spaces and use it as narrative material. Today, and during our residency at artconnexion, we want to expand our practices in order to question writing, in the broadest sense. First, that of digital and archaeological image, in our ongoing work Scriptorium, but also other forms of writings in our individual projects. Heliography by cynotype for Amine in Partition solaire, codes and gestures of handwriting and administration for Thibault in Signatèmes. This residency will also be an opportunity to exchange with our peers and lay the foundations for a video manifesto of the Collectif Des Terres"
