This publication was edited on the occasion of the commission of the work Le Jour du Cosmos, by Louise Hervé and Clovis Maillet, by the members of the municipal team of the Jardin des Plantes, the Observatory of the University of Lille and the Jonckheere astronomical association as part of the New Patrons programme supported by the Fondation de France.

It was designed to serve as a memory device for the performance that Louise Hervé and Clovis Maillet wrote for the Patrons who reactivate it annually.
