From October 2020 to May 2022, artconnexion will work with the children of the Maisons des Enfants de la Côte d'Opale (Pas-de-Calais), as part of the project The colour of water by Nicolas Floc'h, in partnership with the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation.

The Colour of water project was initiated as part of The Toilers of the Sea programme, bringing together scientists and artists at the Wimereux Marine Biology Centre (University of Lille – LOG 8187) with the support of the Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation.

As part of this residency, artconnexion's team will be conducting workshops with the children of the Maisons des Enfants de la Côte d’Opale (MECOP). During these workshops, the children will be meeting the artist, the researchers and scientists of the Université du Littoral Côte d'Opale, they will be introduced to the importance of ocean preservation, visit exhibitions, participate in workshops at the seaside and produce a collection of creative works.
