artconnexion invites students from the workshop led by Anne-Émilie Philippe, artist and professor at ESA art school inTourcoing.
The third part of the low cycle, after flow in 2023 and slow in early 2024, glow is an off-site exhibition by La galerie commune presenting a selection of editions and artists' books on the themes of light, radiance, illumination, glitter resistance and the survival of fireflies.During a three-day workshop at ESA Tourcoing and artconnexion, students worked on developing publications to be displayed in the artconnexion exhibition space, based on thinking about light as a component of the work. The exhibition includes the productions created during a workshop and selected artists' editions related to the theme.
This year, editions by Sammy Stein, Andrée Ospina, Fanette Mellier, Roxanne Mallet, Estelle Chrétien, Alexis Lechien, Nigel Peak, Nina Coco, Moe Suzuki, Guillaume Aubry & Sterling Hudson are presented.
These editions will join the Low collection, available for consultation at the shared library of ESA Tourcoing and the university of Lille. Some works will also join the collection of the Library of Art in Common at artconnexion.
