Grégoire Motte

Living Room, carpeting throughout

9 February - 16 April 2011

“artconnexion told me: it's your living room, so I can invite whoever I want and we can do whatever we want. For the paint on the walls, I'm hesitating between 60162 and 10DG83061 from the Valentine brand. Fjord blue or diamond blue? But in any case, Véronique Boudier is a plant, Thibaut Espiau plants a pen, Michelle Naismith kisses Hubert Marécaille, François Marcadon might get naked, Eléonore Saintagnan is on the phone, Kurt Ryslavy does what he wants too and Stéphane Barthez really has an accent. That's probably not all, I think, but you can't predict everything.”

The “living room” project designed by Grégoire Motte has a large “library” so the public can discover the different New Patrons projects in progress (in France and abroad) as well as the European project Face2Face. Artists' video projects and artists' books will also be presented in the same framework.

Several other artists will be invited to work on the design of the space. As part of the “artconnexion Tuesdays”, meetings, lectures, performances and other events will also take place in the Living Room.

Exhibition/salon with the participation of Kurt Ryslavy, Véronique Boudier, Michel Couturier, Thibaut Espiau, Yves Grenet, Michelle Naismith & Hubert Marécaille, Francois Marcadon, Grégoire Motte, Eléonore Saintagnan, Sébastien Védis, Kurt Schmitters, Thierry Verbeke and Patrice Verhojstat.
