Olivia Hernaïz
Les Heures Sont Là
From 25 April to 26 September 2025
Starting with the Tulip Mania crisis in the Netherlands in the 17th century, considered the first speculative bubble in history, Olivia Hernaïz uses this flower as a symbol of financial excesses and abuses.
From the mountains of Central Asia to European still lifes, and through Turkish palaces, the tulip—an object of intense desire—becomes a means to explore our relationship with the living, with time, and with money.
By transforming the exhibition space into a place for exchanges, discussions, and knowledge sharing, the artist invites participation in a Time Bank, as an alternative to the current capitalist system.
